About Us

We are a national network of innovators in the French horse industry.

Hippolia is the only government-certified competitive cluster in the horse industry. It comprises a Board of Directors which represents the industry, an independent Committee of Quality Certification Experts and an energetic operational team, all bound by confidentiality.

The Hippolia Cluster

The cluster has its headquarters in Normandy, and is composed of a network of more than 200 members throughout France: entrepreneurs, start-ups, VSBs, SMEs and major groups, and also research teams, training providers and institutions.

Ambition and Strategy

About Competitive Clusters

A business cluster includes businesses of all sizes as well as research laboratories and training establishments that are all based on a targeted theme and within a clearly identified territory. National and local public authorities are closely related to this dynamic.

Prime Minister Edouard Philippe confirmed the renewal of the Hippolia Competitive Cluster’s “competitive cluster” certificate in February 2019. As such, the State renewed its confidence in this competitive cluster and its endeavours to promote research, entrepreneurship and training.
